Nicole joined the Summit Legal Defenders in 2024 and is an Ohio board-licensed social worker with a Masters in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University. She is passionate about offering holistic defense to our clients. As a social worker, she works with attorneys to connect clients to resources and support critical for post-litigation success.

As a social worker, Nicole has provided trauma-informed individual and group mental and substance use counseling to youth and adults from economically under-resourced communities in Cleveland. Nicole has also facilitated trauma groups with incarcerated men and women in addition to coordinating reentry planning to help support their success as restored citizens. Prior to earning her MSW, Nicole spent two decades as an educator and college persistence adviser to low income, urban youth and transitional aged adults in Baltimore, Maryland.
