Tammy Thompson Farley graduated from Kent State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. In 2020, she received her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and was admitted to practice in Ohio.

While in law school, Tammy worked with the Ohio Civil Rights Commission as an advocate for clients facing employment discrimination. In 2019, she began an internship with the Legal Defender Office of Summit County, representing indigent clients facing misdemeanor criminal charges.

Tammy joined the Summit Legal Defenders office as a staff attorney in January, 2021.
