Education: Case Western University, J.D.

Scott was born and raised in Summit County, graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and was admitted to practice in Ohio in 1993. He formerly practiced with the firm of Callahan, Greven, Rilley & Sinn in Summit and surrounding counties. Scott has extensive experience in all aspects of criminal law, both as an Assistant Summit County Prosecutor and a defense attorney, and he has devoted his almost 30 years of experience exclusively to criminal law. Scott has extensive trial experience, having presented well over 200 cases to a jury throughout his career and is considered one of the most experienced defense attorneys in the northeast Ohio area. He was also appointed to the Governing Board of the Summit County Community Based Correctional Facility in August of 2023.
