William Millard studied at the University of Akron, earning a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1976 and graduating from the School of Law in 1980. While a student, he interned at Dalessio, Shapiro, Gore, Axner & Stamm, and, after graduation, at Aronson, Mack, Waller & Kaplan. In 1982, William set up a private practice emphasizing family law. From 1986 to 1998, he was associated with Shirley Majors Law Offices, and in 2000 he joined the Summit Legal Defenders office. Since then, most of William’s efforts have been directed on behalf of juveniles.
