A native of Northeast Ohio, Firas obtained his Bachelors, Masters, and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Akron.
Firas has practiced almost exclusively in the field of criminal law since being admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2019. He has taken numerous Felony and Misdemeanor cases to both jury and bench trials. He has represented clients in matters ranging from misdemeanor traffic offenses to murder charges. Firas has practiced in 30 plus Ohio Counties in private practice and has experience in both small-town courts and large urban courts at the Felony, Misdemeanor, and Juvenile levels. Prior to coming back to Summit County, Firas practiced as a public defender and at a private criminal defense firm in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas.
Firas is passionate about indigent defense and believes that everyone deserves zealous and compassionate representation.
